thANNOUNCEMENT

St. Barnabas Church, North Hatley, has reached a turning point in its long history. Our congregation has gone through a period of reflection, known as discernment, for the past year and a half. This discernment process allowed us to reflect upon past conflict and financial concerns and opened a path to renewed, welcoming community life and financial sustainability. It was a process that has lead us to a decision made at a Special Vestry meeting held last Sunday, September 11th. It was decided, by a vote with no dissent, that the parish of St. Barnabas will join the collective St. Francis Deanery Model in Shared Ministry with other Anglican congregations in our area, effective October 1, 2016.

We have and will continue to promote the diversity of preachers and services in our church and we look forward to your participation!

Our Sunday morning services continue to be held at 9:00 a.m. with music provided by Louis Brouillette.
