Sunday, July 31. The St. Francis Deanery Fifth Sunday Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, North Hatley. Those who love to sing are invited to join the St. Barnabas choir this Sunday morning at the Deanery service. Meet downstairs fifteen minutes before the service for a quick practice. A pot luck lunch will follow the service.
Sunday July 31. No service at St. John’s, Waterville.
Magog Boat Trip
The Parish of St. Luke’s presents an interesting proposal for your consideration. Are you planning to attend the 150th Anniversary Celebration in Georgeville? Would you enjoy making the trip from Magog to Georgeville via a large tour boat? The return trip would be by autobus as the boat has a schedule to maintain. The cost per person would be $10 with any surplus (after expenses paid) going to the Deanery. Hopefully, sponsors will offset the bulk of the expenditures. In order for this proposal to materialize it is urgent that the planners have a showing of interest from parishioners through out the Deanery. Should you not have access to e-mail service facilities, please call Robert (St Luke’s People’s Warden) in the evenings at 819 562 2133. Further details will follow if sufficient interest is demonstrated. Mr. Rene Prince of the Parish of St. Luke has proposed this project.
North Hatley. Saturday August 7th and Sunday August 5th. Garage Sale to support the North Hatley Recreation Association. All proceeds to help fund the sailing program. Items can be brought to the public beach building on Thursday Aug.4 and Friday Aug. 5.
