St Barnabas’ Christmas Eve service was blessed this year with exceptional music as well as a children’s play and story during the service. Children and grandchildren performed the play, “Animals At The Manger”, written by our own Margorie Ross. The children performed beautifully under the direction of Margorie and Kathy Stafford. Kathy was also our exceptional costume designer. Well done, everyone!
Special music for the service was performed by Amélie Rheault, soloist, Alex Koehler, nyckelharpa and violin, Louis Brouillette, organ, and Richard Salt on guitar. These musician added greatly to our enjoyment of singing beloved Christmas carols.
A wine and cheese reception followed the service in the lower hall. The sweets platter included Jane Perry Gore’s select mince tarts. Delicious!
