Our second Jazz Vespers Service was this past Sunday, December 2nd. The music was fabulous with a mix of secular jazz and Advent hymns. The wine and cheese after was a good time to connect and I believe the favourite musical number was “Autumn Leaves” sung beautifully by Élise Béchard, with Robert-Étienne Siméon on saxophone
and Louis Brouillette on organ. Who would think you could play jazz on an organ?
